We can barely contain our excitement—we shipped out our inaugural box last week, with a total retail value of $52.97! It’s been quite a whirlwind these past few weeks as we finalized the pattern, printed everything, packed all the boxes, and shipped them off around the globe. If you missed out, you can always get the Oroya pattern on Ravelry!

This month, we featured Merino Silk Lace from Sweet Georgia Yarns, a 50/50 merino/silk yarn that’s perfect for summer knitting. I can’t tell you how hard it was to choose from their dozens of beautiful colors, but in the end we managed to narrow it down to three that perfectly capture the essence of summer. Our subscribers each received a full skein in either Berry Tart, Spruce, or Melon. Retail Value: $39.00
The knitting pattern this month is an airy lace shawl inspired by the leaves of the Oroya Peruviana cactus. It’s dappled with tiny seed beads along the bottom edge that perfectly catch the sunlight. You’ll love to have this shawl draped around your shoulders on a cool summer night! Oroya is also available to purchase as a digital download on Ravelry. Retail Value: $5.99
We packed 30g of #10 seed beads in a color chosen to pair beautifully with your yarn, packed in cute little glass vials. Subscribers received beads in either Mojito, Sea Glass, or Lilac. Also included was enough 30 gauge wire to make a few threaders to add the beads to the shawl.Retail Value: $1.99
And to top it all off, we threw in a digital row counter ring that you can wear around your finger as you knit. It includes an LED back-light so you can count your rows even in dim lighting, and it counts up to 5 digits (although if you ever knit something with that many rows, we’d love to hear about it. Let us know in the comments below!). These will also be available to purchase in our shop soon.Retail Value: $5.99
